This is a great video showing how to make this Indian Flat Bread called Roti or Chapati. It’s basically like an Indian tortilla. They’re really great and you can make them fresh to use with the Cauliflower Chapati’s Recipe. They’re especially good when made fresh!
The Recipe:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup water
Oil or ghee (if you want this to be vegan, don’t use ghee)
add water to flour and knead until smooth. Roll into a ball and add oil, knead oil into dough. Separate into four parts. Roll with some flour until flat. Cook on a hot skillet until brown and puffy. Add some ghee to the cooked bread and serve.
This is a great discussion of meditation by a great mind. Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, PhD., helped with the writing of the book “The Mind, Its Projections And Multiple Facets” by Yogi Bhajan, PhD. He’s a brilliant yogi and he really knows his stuff. For those of you who may be put off by appearances, forget about the turban and the Sikh religion for a moment and really listen to what he is saying about meditation on a strictly human level. It’s a wonderful discussion.
Came across this video on YouTube… It’s a great explanation of kundalini yoga from one of my teachers, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. Gurmukh is a great master who with Gurushabd Singh, her husband opened the Goldenbridge Yoga Center in Hollywood where I teach.
This video is a great overview of the practice from the point of view of one of the great masters of this yoga, Gurmukh.
