I had always heard from my teachers how this land where we go for summer solstice every year is considered very holy land by the Native American Hopi Tribe. They gave this land over to Yogi Bhajan in 1972 so that he could do this great healing work with Kundalini and White Tantric Yoga. Recently I heard more of the story.
The Hopi chief who came to Yogi Bhajan told him their tradition spoke of a great warrior from the east, dressed all in white, who would come before the great change of the age to continue their work for peace on earth. He told Yogi Bhajan they believed that man was he and related how this land had been a sacred gathering place for tribes from around the world for thousands of years. (more…)
